IFDA Holds First of Six 'Webinars';Experts Analyze Benefits of Voice Technology in Foodservice Dist

WASHINGTON, DC - Sept. 14 marked the first occurrence of six planned web-based workshops sponsored by the Education and Research Foundation of the International Foodservice Distributors Association, Falls Church, VA.

This initial "webinar," titled "Voice Technology in Foodservice Distribution," was attended by foodservice distributors, who dialed in and took advantage of the opportunity to obtain an overview about voice technology from a consultant and receive experiential commentary from a peer. The 90-minute event was structured to foster information exchange and allow participants to ask and receive answers to their specific questions about the use of this technology.
