Maines Taps SAP ERP to Support Cross-Country Growth

Maines, an ID Top 50 distributorship, will turn to SAP to enable new business opportunities, drive down current and future costs across its operation and provide better visibility across the enterprise.

The announcement by both companies stated that Maines will consolidate and reduce the number of internal systems, migrate to an integrated environment, automate key business processes and empower its users with easy access to data. Currently servicing customers in 37 states from 10 distribution centers and employing more than 2,000 people in eight states, Maines, with $2.015 billion in sales last year, is looking to expand its presence to all 48 states in the continental United States, the announcement said.
