McLane Extends Agreement with Open Pantry

Open Pantry, headquartered in Pleasant Prairie, WI, and founded in 1966, is a privately held company that owns and operates 35 corporate locations as well as numerous franchise and dealer locations throughout the state.

Jim Fiene, the operator's senior vice president of sales and operations, said, "McLane and Open Pantry share the same 'can do' attitude and understand the importance of customers and treating them well. We know that extending our service agreement will provide us with the service and products we count on to grow our business."

The implementations of new programs and products such as the Willow Creek Coffee Program have made Open Pantry popular among consumers. Its premise "You Need Time, We Can Help" focuses on the customer as a guest of Open Pantry.

"McLane is happy to share in the commitment Open Pantry brings to the convenience channel. Our pledge is to exceed Open Pantry's expectations and help them achieve their business goals," said Scott Braden, president of McLane's Minnesota division.
