Peterzen Assumes Top Spot at Sysco Lincoln

LINCOLN, NB (Aug. 19) Sysco Corp. has appointed Timothy D. Peterzen president and coo of Sysco Lincoln Inc. (formerly Pegler-Sysco Food Services Co.) Peterzen began his duties at Sysco Lincoln on June 29, 2009. He succeeds Gary Rezac, who has been president of the company since 2000 and is retiring after 38 years of service.

Peterzen began his career in 1980 as an accounting clerk with the Minneapolis division of CFS-Continental, a company Sysco acquired in 1988. In 1982 he moved into sales and held various positions in the sales arena before advancing to senior vice president of Sysco Minnesota in 2004 and executive vice president in 2006.
