Three Broadliners Join Frosty Acres

ALPHARETTA, GA - Three regional distributorships recently joined Frosty Acres Brands, Inc., the national marketing and purchasing cooperative for independent foodservice distributors based here, reported the company.

Kastner Statewide Foodservice, a recent combination of two successful companies, Kastner Meats and Statewide Foodservice, is a broadliner located in Rochester, NY. Servicing the New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania area, the company is a certified Angus beef distributor and operates a separate meat production facility in Rochester.

Saint Joe Distributing Co., St. Joseph, MO, founded in 1954, was formerly known as the St. Joseph Tobacco Co. It services more than 700 convenience stores and foodservice accounts and plans to aggressively expand their foodservice business in 2004. The company's territory includes Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa and western Illinois. A broadliner, Saint Joe Distributing provides customers with a broad range of items including candy, tobacco, snacks, HBA, grocery, automotive, deli, beverages, and other miscellaneous items.

Supreme Lobster and Seafood Co., Villa Point, IL, is the sixth largest distributor of fresh and frozen seafood in the country. Founded in 1973, the company maintains two additional distribution centers in Wisconsin and Nevada. The company currently services national accounts and hotel chains in Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana and Michigan.
