Two Maryland Firms Join F.A.B.

Stanley Foods, Inc., Capitol Heights, MD, is a broadline distributor with a strong concentration in the pizza and Asian restaurant markets, also servicing white tablecloth restaurants, government and educational facilities.

George's National Beef provides broadline services primarily to the bar industry in Baltimore, MD, where the company is based. Additional customers include sandwich shops and convenience stores. Lou Martini purchased Stanley's three years ago and then acquired George's National Beef.

"F.A.B. provides the high quality of service that is vitally important to our organization. As a member, we are looking forward to taking advantage of all the cooperative has to offer and working together to continue the success of both of our companies," observed Lou Martini, president of Stanley Foods and George's National Beef.
