Good Stuff Restaurant is a regional family-dining concept with a menu and atmosphere that reflects the Southern California coastal community that it calls home. Anchored by a wide selection of healthy options, Good Stuff’s menu ranges from such all-day breakfast options as omelets, scrambles and whole-wheat pancakes to lunch and dinner favorites such as salads, wraps, fajitas and pulled pork sandwiches.

While Good Stuff offers a core breakfast menu at each of its distinctive restaurants—one each in El Segundo, Palos Verdes, Hermosa Beach and Redondo Beach—there is also a collection of chef-driven daily specials that differ by location.

The core all-day breakfast menu breaks down into the following categories:

  • The Basics—a small collection of platters that combine items such as eggs, pancakes, turkey patties and buffalo patties
  • Beach Body Fitness—a nutrition-oriented list of power shakes, protein-packed bowls and quinoa scrambles
  • The Classics—a lineup of American and Mexican favorites that covers the indulgent to the healthy
  • Uniquely Good Stuff—house specialties that include carnitas tacos, a breakfast salad and Hawaiian loco moco
  • Omelets—including standards such as Californian, Denver and Greek
  • Some Stuff with Syrup—whole-wheat pancakes, Belgian waffles, French toast and other family favorites

Turkey plays a prominent role across many of these core platforms—much more so than one would expect from a midscale concept. But turkey fits right in with Good Stuff’s competitive positioning, since it not only provides the health halo aspect to many of the chain’s breakfast dishes but also contributes heartiness, flavor and texture.

Billed as a signature favorite named for the chain’s founder, Cris’s Breakfast Salad is a brunchy composition of romaine lettuce, tortilla strips, pico de gallo, brown rice, black beans, parmesan and Caesar dressing, topped with scrambled eggs and ground turkey. A dish of contrasts, the salad is made up of breakfast and lunch ingredients, American and Mexican flavors, and crunchy and soft textures. The ground turkey serves as a platform upon which these contrasts to play off of each other.

The protein also stands out as the star in the Spicy Ground Turkey Scramble, a gluten-free dish with egg, jalapeño, cilantro and tomato, served with chef potatoes and warm corn tortillas.

Other all-day breakfast dishes with turkey include Eggs California, a take on eggs Benedict with sliced turkey breast and avocado, and Ricky’s Breakfast Wrap, with scrambled egg, tomato, turkey breast, bacon, guacamole, Swiss cheese and a sun-dried-tomato tortilla.
