King Named to Marketing Post at Wisconsin Cheese



Most recently, King was vice president of marketing for Five Star Food Service, a $150 million full-line provider of vending and food services serving the southeast U.S., based in Chattanooga, TN. He also served as director of Innovation for Canteen, a subsidiary of the Compass Group, and director of Marketing and Technology for Aramark, an international foodservice organization.

At WMMB, King is responsible for the development and execution of foodservice programs that promote Wisconsin cheese, targeting restaurant operations, distributors and other related businesses.
"Brian's long and varied career in foodservice and the business world will be a big boost to our foodservice programming," said Ric Johnson, senior vice president of cheese marketing. "He has operated at the management level to not only conduct state-of-the-art strategies and tactics, but to develop creative approaches to the dynamic area of foodservice, a growing market that is increasingly important to Wisconsin Cheese."
King holds a Master's degree form the University of Iowa and a Bachelor's from American University. He and his family are relocating to Wisconsin.
