Burger King doubles down on Chicken Fries

Looking to build on its recent sales momentum, Burger King is rolling out a fourth iteration of its fan-favorite Chicken Fries.

The latest version, jalapeno, will be available for a limited time, the QSR said.

The original Chicken Fries–a past LTO that was resurrected as a permanent item last year–helped the chain boost its Q2 and Q3 sales, and was followed by two spinoff varieties: fiery and Buffalo.

“Our guests can’t get enough of our spicy menu items not to mention our Chicken Fries, so we’re giving them more of both with this new addition to our Chicken Fries lineup,” Alex Macedo, president of the chain’s North American division, said in a statement.

A nine-piece order of Jalapeno Chicken Fries sells for $2.89.

Burger King said it is also adding two new milkshakes to its menu: an Oreo mint version as well as one made with Dr Pepper.
