Chefs unite for kitchen-focused Clinton campaigning

A group of big-name chefs are aiming to help Hillary Clinton get elected president by donating recipes that home cooks can use to feed grassroots rallies.

The suggested preparations are also intended to bring more families together for dinner, a move that suggests a commitment by Clinton to family values.

The initiative, which launched Thursday, is called Chefs for Hillary. Among its reported founders are New York City standouts Mario Batali, Dominique Ansel and Rebecca Charles.

Other participants include chefs Donald Link, Katie Lee and James Kent.

The group’s first effort is a Pinterest board listing 10 recipes. Clinton supporters are encouraged to share a suitable recipe by tagging them with the hashtag #ChefsForHillary.
