Is McDonald’s considering all-you-can-eat fries?

A McDonald’s franchisee bringing the brand’s build-your-own burgers format to the Missouri area is promising at least one added feature not yet seen on the menu: all-you-can-eat fries.

According to St. Joseph’s News-Press, the endless fry feed plays into franchisee Chris Habiger’s strategy to offer a more casual-dining feel to this new McDonald’s location, currently under construction. In addition to the self-ordering kiosks, the $1.6 million restaurant will offer table service and comfy couches and armchairs inviting customers to dine in and stay awhile. And the location’s Play Place will get a high-tech makeover with tabletop video games.
