McDonald’s headquarters is correcting reports that unlimited French fries will be a permanent menu option at a franchised restaurant in St. Joseph, Mo.

A spokesperson for the chain has explained that all-you-can-eat fries will be available for a limited time as part of the new restaurant’s grand opening. She did not say how long that window would be open.

The 6,500-square-foot store will also reportedly feature an update of McDonald’s play area and such family-aimed features as story times.
