Sysco Names Zink Exec VP at Montana Subsidiary



Zink, who currently serves as senior vice president of operations at SYSCO's Arizona operation, will assume his new responsibilities at the Billings, MT, unit effective Jan. 1, 2006.

Zink, 45, began his Sysco career in 1987 as a management trainee for the Seattle subsidiary. In 1993 he relocated to the Salt Lake City operation as director of warehousing and progressed to director of operations in 1997. The following year he was named vice president of operations at Sysco's Arizona company and in 2004 he was promoted to his current position.

Zink is a current member of Sysco's Operations Council. He attended Montana State University, located in Bozeman, and is a 1986 graduate of the University of Montana - Western, located in his hometown of Dillon, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business. He and his wife, Deanna, have one daughter and will relocate to the Billings area in the near future.
