Bob Evans debuts ‘Meatloaf Mondays’

Bob Evans next week will introduce Meatloaf Mondays, offering customers “an excuse to eat meatloaf” and “start the week off right.”

On Oct. 9 and 16, dine-in customers who wear their pajamas in-restaurant and order one of the chain’s Comfort Classic Dinners will get a dessert free of charge.

“Meatloaf Monday is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate 'comfort' where we'll take on the heavy lifting in the kitchen so guests can enjoy one of life's greatest comforts: homestyle food!” said Sara Bittorf, the chain’s chief marketing officer, in a statement.

Bob Evans’ Comfort Classic Dinners include options such as meatloaf, Parmesan grilled chicken and slow-roasted pot roast.

The casual-dining brand this year was named one of Technomic’s Top 500 chain restaurants, with an estimated $951.2 million in U.S. sales during 2016.
