The award was presented at the UniPro-affiliated group's annual conference at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas.

"Rick Moser, Mary Schott, Bobbi Bowden and the entire team of Martin Bros. associate's have demonstrated a commitment to excellence and dedication to service throughout the year. This dedication and service are among the many reasons NESA has recognized them as Distributor of the Year," said Tom Davies, NESA's senior vice president.

According to the association, the ID Top 50 distributor markets equipment and supplies to restaurants, as well as healthcare and educational institutions.

"We are extremely proud of Martin Bros. and its history-long list of industry achievements as well as them being a founding NESA member in 1987," continued Davies.

He noted that Martin Bros., which was an ID Great Distributor Organization in 2002, has a well-deserved reputation for being the premier independent foodservice distributor in its seven-state region.

"This, coupled with continual sales growth, marketing excellence and development of their team of employees has led us to making this award. It is astounding in this day and age to see their continual accelerated sales growth and view it as only the beginning," he said.
