The Habit Burger Grill

In 1969, 16 year-old Brent Reichard fell in love with the burger joint he worked for in Santa Barbara, California. Four years later, Reichard and his brother Bruce bought the business with money borrowed from their mother, and The Habit Burger Grill was born.

Six years later, Jackson and co-worker Scott Allen moved to Forest Park, Georgia, to launch their own Johnny’s New York Style Pizza restaurant with an extended menu that included pasta, subs and salads.

For 16 years Kabuki's mission has been to be the "best Japanese restaurant" in southern California, with innovative designs and creative menus. Three new units opened this year, two in Phoenix and one in Las Vegas. "Fresh, top-quality gourmet dishes" comprise its dinnerhouse menus. "We're in the planning stages for national expansion," says marketing director Young Kim.

Rodney Anderson and his father founded Panchero’s in 1992 with two units in midwestern college towns. A few years later they hit on their signature offering: fresh, made-to-order tortillas.
