Arby’s names Patrick Schwing CMO

The former Procter & Gamble executive will oversee advertising, digital innovation, menu development and brand experience.

Arby’s on Monday named former Procter & Gamble executive Patrick Schwing its new chief marketing officer.

Schwing will oversee advertising, digital innovation, menu development and the overall brand experience for the Atlanta-based fast-food chain. He will report directly to Arby’s President Jim Taylor.

Schwing “has a long track record of demonstrated performance across a diverse set of global brands,” Taylor said in a statement, adding that Schwing’s “extensive experience in brand building, innovation, digital marketing and organizational leadership will be integral in leading Arby’s to its next phase of growth.”

Schwing spent more than 16 years with Procter & Gamble, most recently leading Oral-B’s global power brush interactivity and innovation division, where he helped launch the Oral-B Connect product portfolio, which reimagined teeth brushing with artificial intelligence.
