Mediterranean food continues to trend on menus, offering both health benefits and fresh flavors. For a twist on a Greek salad, the Chartwells team tosses warm naan bread spread with tzatziki sauce into the bowl. It adds texture and flavor to the mix of greens, fresh mint, olives, artichokes and more.
2 oz. tzatziki sauce
1 naan bread
3 oz. baby arugula & mixed greens
1 oz. fresh mint, chopped
2 oz. marinated sliced black olives
2 oz. chopped artichokes
2 oz. cucumber, diced
1 oz. balsamic vinaigrette
2 oz. feta cheese
1 red onion, sliced 1/4-in. thick
balsamic glaze, for garnish
1. In bowl, toss salad mix, mint, olives, artichokes, cucumber and vinaigrette.
2. Spread tzatziki sauce on warm naan bread.
3. Put contents of bowl on naan bread. Arrange feta and red onion on top and drizzle with balsamic glaze.
