This no-alcohol version of a bloody Mary has such a complex flavor profile, the traditional vodka is not at all missed. In addition to the requisite tomato juice, Gloria’s Restaurant & Bar adds red jalapeno puree, soy sauce, sesame oil, black pepper and ginger to the mix. Over-the-top garnishes make a dramatic presentation.
Ingredients
¼ oz. red jalapeno puree, thawed
5 oz. tomato juice
½ oz. soy sauce
½ oz. fresh lime juice
Dash Maggi sauce
4 drops sesame oil
Pinch salt
Pinch black pepper
Pinch ground ginger
Red jalapeno, cherry tomato, celery, lime slice, onion and or toasted sesame seeds, for garnish
Steps
- In bowl or container, whisk all ingredients to blend well.
- Roll rim of tall glass in salt and fill with ice. Pour tomato juice mixture over ice; garnish as desired.
