At Bar 314 in New York City’s Morningside Heights neighborhood, chef Andrew LoPresto menus several pizza varieties. The Manhattanville Pizza reflects its urban locale, with a flavorful mix of toppings, including vegetables and specialty cheese.
Dough for 12-in. pizza
3 oz. taleggio cheese
Pinch of minced garlic
2 oz. sun-dried tomatoes
2 oz. cooked spinach
1 oz. thinly sliced long peppers
Extra virgin olive oil
- Roll pizza dough out into smooth, flat 12-inch round. Place on pizza pan.
- Arrange cheese, garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, spinach and peppers on top of dough. Place pizza in very hot oven (800 F) and bake 90 seconds.
- Remove the pizza from oven. Sprinkle the pizza to taste with extra virgin olive and lemon juice.
