2016 Top 500: Asian chains

PF Changs lettuce wraps

Full-service Asian chains among the Top 500 grew sales by 2.5%, to $1.9 billion. Unit counts were essentially flat. Regional chains like Little Sheep Mongolian Hot Pot and Gyu-Kaku are seeing some healthy growth, but the full-service Asian restaurant game is still mostly played by independents. In fact, chains within the Top 500 comprise only about 8.6% of Asian concepts across the industry.
