ID NEWS: USF cfo and executive vp/general counsel resign

Royal Ahold, Zaandam, The Netherlands, has announced additional resignations at U.S. Foodservice (USF), Columbia, MD, following that of USF CEO Jim Miller (ID web news 5/13/03).

Michael Resnick, cfo, and David Abramson, executive vice president and general counsel for the $17.5-billion broadliner, have stepped down. Their resignations have been accepted by Ahold and are effective immediately.

Resnick joined USF in October, 2002, and served in several financial capacities since, before taking the cfo post in 2001. Abramson has been with USF since July, 1996.
