New BiRite software to give operators real-time access to purchase volumes

BiRite Foodservice Distributors, Brisbane, CA, a $150-million independent broadliner, has purchased TiberNet IQ analytical software, to provide value-added purchasing information for customers.

"BiRite is distancing itself from the competition by providing detailed information about purchases," notes Dennis Collins, the distributor's general manager. "This information is especially valuable to chain restaurants who often get rebates based on volume but have difficulty getting timely or 100-percent accurate information."

Operators get real-time web access to purchase volume through the TiberNet IQ suite, and the information can be e-mailed to manufacturers for verification of purchases and more timely payment of rebates.
