10th Food Safety & Security Summit to Open Next Week


Workshops in conjunction with the conference will be held each day while exhibits will be open Tuesday, March 18, and Wednesday, March 19 at the Washington, DC, Convention Center.

The keynote presentations will be delivered by Rick Frazier, leader of Coca Cola Company's Technical Stewardship function; Richard Rivera, chairman of the board of the National Restaurant Association, and Dr. David Acheson, F.R.C.P., assistant commissioner of food protection for the FDA.

More than 70 speakers from companies such as Coca-Cola Co., Burger King Corp., Walt Disney World, Kraft Foods, McDonald's, ConAgra Foods, Grocery Manufacturers Association, the International Dairy Foods Association, and the National Restaurant Association will present at the conference, as well as experts from North Carolina State, Georgia, Kansas State, Colorado State, Auburn, and Michigan State.
