Hotel-based restaurants often have a captive audience of tourists, but attract locals as well. Independents winning in hotels have often included spots from celebrity chefs and seasoned restaurateurs. This year’s list is no different, with hotel concepts from Tao Group, Gibsons and Jose Andres all making the Top 100 Independents ranking. Here are the ones that made this year's list.
