Mod Pizza has released its latest seasonal pizza offering. Available starting today, The Kane features Mod red sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, spinach, red onion, gorgonzola and Mama Lil’s sweet hot peppers. The pizza will be available until Jan. 8, 2018.
Mod also introduced two additional toppings for its pizzas. Fresh Lacinato kale and roasted cauliflower join the chain’s growing list of more than 30 toppings.
“Along with being a great addition to our salads, the Lacinato kale is also amazing on pizza. One of my favorites is a white sauce base, topped with kale, bacon, mushrooms, red onion and a dash of Parmesan cheese,” said Mod’s culinary manager, Brian Figler, in a statement. “The roasted cauliflower, one of my favorite cold-weather vegetables, is back after many customer requests. I love its growing popularity – it really is a vegetable that is equally great in both salads and on pizzas.”
