*Tyson Foods, Inc., Springdale, AR, has signed a letter of intent to purchase a bacon processing facility in Omaha, NE, from Millard Refrigerated Services.

*Royal Ahold, Zaandam, the Netherlands, and Sysco Corp., Houston, both have "declined to comment" on a Financial Times report that they may bid for Brake Bros Plc, one of the largest U.K. suppliers of frozen foods, according to the Bloomberg news service. The U.K. packer says it has attracted several potential buyers since it announced it might seek acquisition, as chairman and founder Frank Brake, 68, plans to retire.

*Perkins Paper, Inc., Taunton, MA, has purchased the assets of J.M. Supply, Inc., dba Brite Way Value Mart, Manchester, NH. The nonfoods distributor is a member of NPTA, ISSA, SEFA, DDA and Network Associates.

*Lincoln Foodservice Products, Fort Wayne, IN, a division of Enodis, has restructured the Lincoln group of companies to include a newly created Lincoln Smallwares Div. The new entity will operate alongside the Lincoln Equipment Div. and will cross-sell brands whenever possible.
