Diners with food allergies are most likely to have their needs met when visiting domestic concepts such as Maggiano’s Little Italy and Rainforest Cafe, according to a list of top allergy-friendly chains compiled by restaurant guide AllergyEats.

Chains were rated by AllergyEats users on the quality of their allergy protocols rather than the quality of their food. Similarly, service and restaurant ambiance were not factored into the top 10 ranking, which is comprised of both large and small U.S. chains.

“We are honored to receive this recognition,” Keith Beitler, chief operating officer of Rainforest Cafe, said in a statement. “At Rainforest Cafe, it is rewarding to accommodate our guests’ needs and requests. We spend a lot of time making sure our restaurants offer plenty of adventure with a variety of dining options that satisfies everyone’s appetite—including allergy-friendly, gluten-free and healthy menu items.”
