In addition to new research, the National Restaurant Association is helping the industry navigate the coronavirus crisis with a variety of free resources from the ServSafe team. The team created them so restaurateurs could find much-needed regulatory information to quickly comply with new rules and mandates and to reinforce safety practices for takeout and delivery. They include:

  • The COVID-19 Resources by State guide is a compilation of all state, city and county mandates—updated daily—on restaurant and foodservice operations during the coronavirus crisis.

  • Two new ServSafe videos, in English and Spanish, explain how to handle and deliver food safely during the pandemic, as well as free access to the ServSafe Food Handler training program through April 30.

The Association also continues to update its industry-specific Coronavirus Information Page to keep restaurateurs informed on the latest news, tips, tools and resources to help them operate during this crisis.
