Susan Adzick is named McLane Foodservice’s next president

The company veteran will succeed Tom Zatina in July.

McLane Foodservice COO and EVP Susan Adzick has been tapped to succeed Tom Zatina as president of the $16 billion distribution company, a division of McLane Inc., as of July. 

“Susan Adzick is an experienced supply chain industry executive who is well respected by all who know and work with her,” said Zatina, current president of McLane Foodservice. “I have the utmost confidence in knowing Susan will be a steward of the values of our business and keep our company a great place to work, a great place to trade and a great place to invest.”

"I'm excited about helping to further shape the future of our business," Adzick said in the same media announcement.

A 20-year veteran of McLane, Adzick moved up to her current positions earlier this month. She was previously SVP of sales and strategic partnerships.

Adzick is a director of the National Restaurant Association and the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation and is a past chair of the Women’s Foodservice Forum.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering and an MBA, both from Vanderbilt University. 

McLane Foodservice is a systems distributor that services 29 of the Top 100 restaurant chains, or 35,000 U.S. locations in total.
