HOUSTON (February 15, 2011 - Globe Newswire)—Sysco Corporation announced today that Sanderson Farms, Inc. (Laurel, MS) has been named Sysco's 2010 Supplier of the Year. The award was presented at Sysco's Super Regional Conference held in Houston, Texas, February 1, 2011. This is the 16th year that Sysco has annually recognized its top performing suppliers.
In addition to Sanderson Farms, the remaining Gold Suppliers include, in order: Pacific Coast Producers (Lodi, CA ); Arista Foods (Wilton, CT); Dean Foods/Morningstar (Dallas, TX); Pactiv Corporation (Lake Forrest, IL) JBS Pork (Greeley, CO); National Beef Packing Company, LLC (Kansas City, MO); Taylor Farms (Salinas, CA); Ventura Foods, LLC (Brea, CA); and Ralcorp Holdings, Inc. Also announced today are the winner's of Sysco's Seventh Annual Heritage Awards.
