Taco Bell debuts new unit designs

After building buzz over its updated restaurant designs, Taco Bell has introduced the new looks at four units near its California headquarters, the OC Register reports.

The restaurants boast four distinct styles, which are dubbed California Sol, Modern Explorer, Heritage and Urban Edge. Though separate designs, they all showcase similar elements, such as communal tables, open kitchens, reclaimed wood, chalkboard specials and patio fireplaces, according to the OC Register.

This suite of designs allows the chain more flexibility with its units, as franchisees will be able to choose the design that best reflects the community in which it’s being implemented. Taco Bell had earlier noted that the refreshed designs will be incorporated into renovated units as well as new ones.
