Which Wich goes after grocery customers

Which Wich is making moves into the supermarket segment, as the chain announced a new partnership that will put units of the fast-casual sandwich brand inside 15 Crossroads IGA stores nationwide.

Five of those locations are expected to open within the next year through the partnership deal struck with Crossroads IGA’s parent, Houchens Industries.

"As we continue to grow our footprint into the nontraditional space, finding great innovative partners like Houchens is crucial to our long term development strategy," AJ Schuler, Which Wich's manager of franchise development, said in a statement.

Crossroads IGA, which has locations in 40 states, brands itself as an upscale neighborhood market.
