Enough with the kids. Chuck E. Cheese’s aims new menu at adults.

Score one for parents. Now when they bring the kids to Chuck E. Cheese’s, they won’t have to settle for marginal pizza or whatever else the little ones might eat.

The arcade concept has rolled a new bill of fare that includes such purposely adult-focused selections as whole-wheat wraps, chicken wings, a barbecued-chicken ciabatta sandwich and churros kicked up with salted caramel and white-chocolate frosting.

"Kids are at the heart of everything we do at Chuck E. Cheese's, but kids don't come alone, and we want to make sure parents have just as enjoyable an experience as the kids do, especially when it comes to the food," said Tom Leverton, CEO of parent company CEC Entertainment.

The 545-unit chain is hoping to please parents and children alike with a revamped version of its signature menu item, pizza.

The crust has been reformulated, and the concept has committed to solely using freshly made, never-frozen, hand-stretched dough.  Chuck E. Cheese’s is boasting that the reformulated pies were preferred by 59 percent of participants in a blind taste test over comparable pizzas from Pizza Hut and Domino’s.
