Cracker Barrel Old Country Store has long been a breakfast destination, and bacon is a must-have with many morning menu items. For fall, the family-dining chain is adding another bacon-centric entree to the all-day breakfast menu and spotlighting bacon at lunch and dinner, too.

Bacon Mac n’ Cheese, a new premium side dish, offers guests a different way to savor bacon outside of breakfast. It features the chain’s creamy macaroni and cheese topped with crispy bacon bites, parsley, green onions and Parmesan cheese. The craveable item is offered as a side between the hours of 10:30 a.m and 10 p.m.

New on the breakfast menu is the Bacon n’ Egg Hashbrown Casserole, combining several guest favorites. The hearty item takes Cracker Barrel’s signature Hashbrown Casserole to the next level—it’s griddled and layered with Colby cheese, scrambled eggs and hickory smoked bacon, then topped with fried onions, diced tomatoes and green onions.

Breakfast casseroles are popular with Cracker Barrel’s catering customers, VP of Menu Development Cammie Spillyards-Schaefer told Restaurant Businessearlier this year, and with post-pandemic office meetings and family gatherings ramping up, this new item provides another option. It travels well and can be individually packaged for group catering.

Both the new hashbrown casserole and bacon-enhanced mac n’ cheese are permanent menu additions.

On the beverage side, the chain is debuting two limited-time offers for fall, running until Nov. 29.

Pumpkin Pie Latte is returning this season, as it proved to be a fan favorite. Available hot or iced, the drink is a blend of coffee with sweet pumpkin-pie flavors, with whipped cream and a sprinkling of pumpkin pie spice on top. Huckleberry Tea is a cool refresher combining brewed iced tea with the sweet and tangy flavors of wild berries.
