Hakkasan Group has named Nick McCabe CEO following the Wednesday resignation of chief executive Neil Moffitt.

Hakkasan owns and operates 14 restaurant brands globally, as well as several nightclub concepts. Its namesake restaurant, Hakkasan, is a Michelin-starred Asian eatery with 12 locations worldwide that boasted an average unit volume of $8.3 million in 2016.

McCabe joined Hakkasan Group in 2013 and has since played a large role in the group’s global expansion plans. As CEO, he will lead the proposed acquisition of SBE Hospitality Group and continue to spearhead expansion efforts as the group looks to add 12 additional venues this year.

Last month, Hakkasan Group celebrated the U.S. debut of London-based dim sum restaurant Yauatcha in Houston
