ONE Group COO to resign

ONE Hospitality Group’s COO John Inserra has notified the company of his desire to step down, the company today announced.

Inserra is leaving ONE Group—parent company to the STK steakhouse chain—to pursue a career that will allow him to be located closer to family, according to a statement. He will remain on the ONE Group team until his replacement is identified and transitioned to the COO role, the company said. The search for a replacement is already underway.

“We greatly appreciate the significant work John has done for the company and we are going to miss him,” ONE Group CEO Jonathan Segal said. “John has helped us build the scale and infrastructure we need to become a substantially larger business.”

In June, ONE Group announced its plans to acquire the Cleo and Katsuya restaurant brands from SBE Entertainment, a $75 million deal.
