McDonald’s brings back seasonal beverages

McDonald’s has brought back seasonal beverages to its recently revamped McCafe coffee line.

The McCafe Peppermint Mocha and Peppermint Hot Chocolate returned to menus at participating locations yesterday. Both drinks are made without artificial colors, flavors or preservatives, and the Peppermint Mocha is made with espresso beans that are sustainably sourced from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms.

McDonald’s has also created themed cups in conjunction with the beverages, which will be available beginning Nov. 6.

“These festive McCafe beverages deliver enticing flavors that are holiday favorites,” said Elina Veksler, senior director of McCafe Menu Innovation. “For many, nothing comes before coffee—even during the holidays—which is why our Peppermint Mocha is made with cafe-quality espresso made from 100% Arabica beans. Our customers are sure to enjoy our delicious Peppermint Mocha and our other seasonal favorite, Peppermint Hot Chocolate.”
