Kentucky Fried Chicken Nuggets are launching nationwide Monday, after a successful test last year.

The all-white-meat nuggets are hand-breaded with KFC’s Original Recipe developed by Colonel Sanders, just like the chain’s iconic bone-in fried chicken, and will be featured on the permanent menu.

“As the original fried chicken experts, we're introducing a chicken nugget made the way only KFC can—hand-breaded with our distinctive Original Recipe of 11 herbs and spices,” said Nick Chavez, CMO, KFC U.S., in a statement. “Simply put, you've never had chicken nuggets like these—they're the chicken nugget America deserves, and worth the wait. Now that's Finger Lickin' Good!”

KFC is promoting the nuggets as full meals, snacks to eat on the go, or complements to a bucket of chicken. They’re available in 5-, 8-, 12- or 36-piece orders, starting at $3.49. Combo options are also on tap, pairing nuggets with fries, a biscuit and a medium drink.

Starting Monday, the new nuggets will also be available in kids’ meals and as an option to upgrade KFC Famous Bowls.

The Louisville, Ky.-based fast-food chain is also bringing back the KFC Mac & Cheese Bowl on April 3 for a limited time, priced at $5 and featuring the new nuggets. Fans of heat can opt for the Spicy Mac & Cheese Bowl, fired up with Nashville hot sauce.

Although KFC has purged its menu of some items, including wings and popcorn chicken, the chain has been adding new products—with a focus on the boneless chicken category. New versions of the chicken sandwich are in test, Kentucky Fried Chicken Wraps returned last month as an LTO, and now nuggets are rolling out nationally.
