French fry fan? Better make a plan for Wednesday.

Restaurant chains around the country are diving deep into the fryer for National French Fry Day (surely one of the most-hallowed of made-up food holidays), offering up mountains of free fries, contests and even a chance to spend a couple of nights in a potato-themed hotel in Boise.

Here’s a rundown of some of the most notable Fry Day celebrations:

Forget Fry Day. Wendy’s is celebrating Fry Week. The burger chain is offering five days of fry deals, when ordered through the Wendy’s app. On Monday, there’s a free medium fry with Frosty purchase; Tuesday, a free medium fry with salad; Wednesday, free any-size fry with any mobile order purchase; Thursday, free small breakfast seasoned potatoes with any mobile order; and Friday, free medium fry with any size fry mobile order.

Burger giant McDonald’s is giving away orders of large fries Wednesday, so long as they are placed on the app by loyalty program members.

Burger King is putting a twist on Fry Day, with a side of protein. The burger chain is giving out free Chicken Fries with every $3 purchase Wednesday, available via the BK app, website and at participating restaurants—but not via delivery. The deal is only available to members of Burger King’s rewards program, Royal Perks, who are able to get free fries all year via the “frequent fry’er club” promo.

Charleys Philly Steaks is going big for the holiday, giving away 100 days of free fries to 100 winners across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. The chain is also giving away a free order of fries with any cheesesteak purchase on Wednesday, for rewards app users. Charleys said it uses 22 million one-pound potatoes each year, enough to span from Philadelphia to Houston.

Metro Diner is bringing back a favorite dish in honor of the big day Wednesday. The Pittsburgh Steak Salad is a garden salad topped with fries, steak tips and blue cheese, served with blue cheese dressing.

Mooyah Burgers, Fries & Shakes, which says its fries are prepared through a six-step process that takes 24 hours, is hosting a sweepstakes through July 31 in partnership with the Big Idaho Potato Hotel. The winner will receive a two-night stay in the unique Boise hotel, along with airfare and transportation. The potato-shaped hideway features a “customized silo turned into a spa retreat” and is located on a 400-acre farm.
