Is NYC and Vegas clubstaurant group Tao coming to Chicago?

NYC and Las Vegas group TAO may soon be importing its glitzy clubstaurant brand to the Windy City. Rumors of TAO coming to Chicago have been circling for weeks, and then Robin Leach (yes, that Robin Leach) reported in the Las Vegas Sun on Monday that "the Tao Group will be expanding its Las Vegas empire to Chicago and Los Angeles."

Multiple sources say the TAO Group is eyeing the just-shuttered Castle space, yet TAO representatives responded to inquiries on multiple occasions with "no comment" and "nothing to announce," and Four Corners Tavern Group says that "we can't talk yet. Soon."

TAO holds more than 20 celebrity-magnet restaurants and nightclubs in New York, Las Vegas, and Sydney. Will they add Chicago to the list?
