Sysco to Cut Ribbon At Massachusetts Facility

BOSTON (September 20, 2012)—Sysco Boston LLC will host an open house for their new, 650,000 square foot food distribution center in Plympton, Mass. on Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The company, which calls itself the largest food service distributor in New England, recently opened its newest warehouse. The state-of-the-art complex replaces the company’s Norton location and employs 860 workers and carries more than 14,000 products for restaurant and institutional food service customers.

Sysco Boston is a subsidiary of Houston-based Sysco Corp. The corporation boasts the largest food service marketing and distribution organization in North America.
