DALLAS (April 11, 2012 - PRNewswire)—Dickey's Barbecue, a fast-growing barbecue franchise, has signed an exclusive agreement with Sysco Corporation, the largest foodservice distributor in North America, to provide its franchises with a wide range of foodservice products.

Dickey's agreement with Sysco is a significant milestone for the fast-casual restaurant chain as it offers added value through substantial cost savings and improved efficiencies for franchise owners. The agreement with Sysco is the latest step in Dickey's aggressive growth strategy.

Dickey's Barbecue Pit opened its first location in Dallas in 1941. The company began franchising in 1994 and has continued to grow across the country. Dickey's currently has more than 220 locations in 36 states nationwide.
