Little Caesars’ new pizza has 100 slices of pepperoni

Little Caesars is putting some pepperoni on its latest pizza.

Specifically, the Detroit-based chain is putting 100 slices of it on its pie, called “Old World Fanceroni Pepperoni.”

The pizza will be available for a limited time starting Monday. The pizza costs $9.99 and will be available for “Hot-N-Ready” starting today. The company said the pizza will have a special texture and a crunchy bite, as it will come covered from edge to edge with old-world pepperoni.

“Little Caesars is already known for breakthrough products such as our Pretzel Crust Pizza and Crazy Calzony,” said Greg Hamilton, senior vice president of marketing at Little Caesars. “Old World Fanceroni Pepperoni elevates our already high-quality pizza offerings and gives customers the option to make pizza night a little fancier.”

Recently, Little Caesar’s unveiled a deal with the National Football League to become the official pizza sponsor of the NFL, making its mark as the company’s biggest marketing partnership as of late.

According to data from Restaurant Business’ sister publication Technomic, Little Caesars’ global system sales increased 7% to $4.8 billion in 2021. Unit count fell 0.5%, however, to 5,143, nearly 4,200 of which are in the U.S.
