Taco Bell is bringing back the Naked Chicken Chalupa

But this time, the chain is adding a spiced-up version of the popular product.

Taco Bell is bringing back its popular, Naked Chicken Chalupa later this week and this time it’s coming with a friend: A spiced-up version of the chalupa with the fried chicken shell.

The item was popular when it was introduced in January of last year.

The Naked Chicken Chalupa has a fried chicken shell with Mexican spices, and featuring shredded lettuce, tomatoes, cheddar cheese and an avocado ranch sauce.

That will return in its original recipe. But now the chain is adding a Wilder Naked Chicken Chalupa option, with a smoky “Wild sauce.”

Meanwhile, the chain is testing a Nacho Cheese Naked Chicken Chalupa for a limited time in Cleveland, with warm nacho cheese.

The company has also promised that “variations of the beloved Naked Chicken Chalupa are also popping up on Taco Bell menus across the globe.”

The Naked Chicken Chalupa and its wild option will be available for $2.99, or in a $5 Box along with a Doritos Locos Taco, a Crunchy Taco and a medium drink.
