ChowNow, an online-ordering application, said its technology has been updated to enable restaurants that use the ordering system on their websites to accept Google Wallet cashless payments.
Included are “thousands of independent restaurants across the United States,” ChowNow said.
Google Wallet was adopted by several major chains but little has been said about its penetration of the independents market.
