Live sports have (mostly) returned, and Chipotle Mexican Grill is harnessing weekly matchups for a new digital rewards promotion.

Every Monday through Sept. 28, the fast-casual Mexican chain will give customers who order online the chance to win a year’s worth of free burritos by correctly guessing the final score of a given sporting event. Chipotle will also offer free delivery on digital orders of $10 or more on Mondays during that time.

The Free Delivery Monday Matchup promotion begins tonight and will feature the NBA playoff game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Portland Trail Blazers.

"Sports are officially back, and fans want to be a part of the action even though stadiums are empty," said Chris Brandt, Chipotle’s chief marketing officer, in a statement. "Free Delivery Monday Matchup gives our Rewards members an opportunity to gamify their favorite Chipotle orders in parallel with live sports for the chance to win real food and big-time bragging rights."

Featured matchups will be from American football, hockey, men’s and women’s basketball, and baseball.

Rewards members can enter their score prediction when placing a digital order or by emailing Mondays@chipotle.com before the start time of that week’s game. If their prediction is correct, they'll have a chance to receive a year's worth of free burritos in their Chipotle account. Up to 10 people can win each week; if more than 10 correctly predict the score, winners will be randomly selected.

The promotion is part of the chain’s increasing focus on its digital channels. Chipotle’s digital sales were up a whopping 216.3% for the second quarter, and its second make lines for digital orders were averaging $1 million in annual sales per unit.
