McDonald’s latest promotion will highlight the role the chain has played in pop culture around the world as part of its apparent appearance in the upcoming Disney Plus program Loki Season 2.

The company on Wednesday announced the “As Featured In” meal, which will give customers a choice of a Big Mac, Quarter Pounder with Cheese or a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, fries, a beverage and a newly branded Sweet & Sour Sauce.

But this meal also layers additional content and collaborations through its packaging.

Customers will be able to scan the lid of that sauce to access content from Marvel via the app SnapChat. There is also a special bag, “The McDonald’s Bag,” which features a code customers can scan to purchase a new merchandise line the company is releasing in collaboration with the London-based skate and streetwear brand Palace. The meal, and the merch line, will be available Aug. 14.

On Aug. 18, Palace will take over a McDonald’s restaurant in Downey, Calif., the first McDonald’s location in the U.S.

McDonald's "As Featured In" meal will come in its own bag.

This is also a global promotion: The meal will be available in more than 100 countries across the globe.

“It’s not only our real-life fans who have a go-to order,” Morgan Flatley, global chief marketing officer and head of new business ventures for McDonald’s, said in a statement. “For decades, our favorite movie and TV characters have, too.

McDonald’s Famous Orders campaign has been a success for the chain for the past three years, featuring a succession of various stars’ favorite meals, including Travis Scott and the K-pop band BTS. The campaign has helped McDonald’s generate strong sales without using new products or limited-time offers.

This one, however, winks to the chain’s not-infrequent appearance in movies and on television, such as Seinfeld, when George Costanza’s date notes, “I haven’t had a Big Mac in a long time” or the “McDowell’s” bit from the 80s Eddie Murphy movie Coming to America.
