Potbelly Re-Ups with DMA

The chain announced yesterday it has entered into a new five-year agreement with DMA to provide national foodservice distribution.

According to Carl Segal, senior vice president, operations/special projects, “The DMA distribution network has been an integral part of the successful national expansion efforts of Potbelly. Over the years DMA, and its network of distributors, has demonstrated a commitment to re-investing in their business and supporting the growth of their business partners through innovation and service excellence. We very much look forward to continuing our expansion with DMA as the backbone of our foodservice supply chain strategy.”

Bob Sala, president and ceo of DMA, commented “We are excited about continuing our partnership with one of the great restaurant companies in our industry.  We especially appreciate the passion that the Potbelly team brings to aligning its business and supply chain strategies.  Their business philosophy enhances our ability to provide superior service to each Potbelly location.”
