Ben E. Keith Names Tyson Supplier of the Year



Wendy Davidson, Tyson's group vice-president - distribution sales, accepted the award from Mike Roach, president of the UniPro-member distributorship. Tyson also won the Supplier of the Year in the Center of the Plate category.

Ben E. Keith, the nation's eighth largest broadline foodservice distributor according to the ID Top 50, chose winners in six categories from among its top suppliers. The process involved four ballots cast by both division and corporate management.

S.S.D.C., supplier of cleaning products, was chosen in the non-foods category. The produce category winner was J. C. Combs Produce, while McCain's USA took the frozen food category honors. Ventura Foods, LLC, was the grocery category winner. The equipment & supply winner was Rubbermaid Commercial Products.
